Technical how can I find threads about lowering a 1953 Bel Air hardtop?

    I would suggest you investigate ‘dropped spindle supports’ as an alternative to cutting coils. Actually they may be, or should be, called ‘raised spindle supports’. In any case, that method lowers the front end but retains full suspension travel…..preventing/reducing ‘bottoming out’ the front A arms.

    EDIT: derbydad276 has a more complete reply and types faster…:D
