On a original light bar w/a 32 grill. looking for turn signals locations and ideals. Maybe in the bucket?
Bought the kit that puts the bulb in the headlight bucket along with a halogen lamp conversion. Works excellent.
My Model A turned out to have '35 pickup headlights. I finally figured that out based on diameter and that the wires come out through the mount stud. I ordered reflector kits from Mac's that have the turn signal built into the reflector. Car isn't complete and on the road yet to report on how well they light things up, but the parts fit the headlight buckets nicely. Lynn
I bought a set of motor cycle bullet turn signals. They are very small but have a bright light. I'm thinking of mounting them under the frame horns where they will be almost invisible until they are on. They are about 3 in long and 1 in in diameter. I got them at madhornets.com.
I've had these saved on my Ebay watch list for quite a while. They should fit/blend in with most traditional rods front ends. Ebay number 332450022524 I have never been a fan of the turn lights inside the headlights because to me they just look too street roddy and not traditional. I had bike lights that weren't close to traditional on my T bucket. A search through motorcycle turn signal lights can bring up a number of them that look right along with a lot that don't.
Using generic motorcycle turn signals on my '34 PU. Very bright. Might be a little low in some states, check local regulations.
a lot of cool ideals here! I have found out it doesn't matter what question you have you will get answer 10 fold with a lot of other ideals!
...Re-positioned Cowl lights attached to L shaped brackets bolted to underside of frame... I see your Hotrod in your Avatar which I'm assuming is the car is full fendered so the cowl lights might not be suitable for this application but they sure as heck are noticable
Had to chuckle when I saw @Rocky post above, - for my sedan, I actually pulled the indicators (as we call them) off my Ag 200 farm bike that I was using every day to round the cows up with, and put them under the bumpers.
Similar to some already posted I’m using these small late 40’s -50’s guide lights on the frame horn under the fenders. I’ll put an 1157 or similar in them and paint the insides white. used as an early Harley and Indian motorcycle accessory light I’ve also found them on tractors and the like. I like the lense shape and the round bezels/trim Rings. Some of the ones a available from truck bike and catalog places have a square-r shape to them and it stuck out to me as looking to new on this car. had considered chroming or painting the brake backing plates white to get a little extra glow but I think they’ll be fine

HD turn signals painted and mounter under headlight bar. Choice of lens color. For those that have to be concerned about it DOT approved.
On my 34 I went online and searched for dual filament sockets, offset post, for 1157 bulbs. then, rebuilt the original cowl light with the new sockets, and special small globe 1157 bulbs that fit inside. now have cowl lights, and turn signals. I like having cowl lights, would not want to sacrifice them for just signals
Don't know if you can make anything of it, this was my working drawing. Bracket bolts on under the headlight bar using the headlight nut that is recessed into the bracket. The stud projecting down is the mount for the turn signal. Wiring loops up into the headlight. You can just see the bracket under the headlight bar.

Couldn’t follow your drawings until I looked back at your previous post with photos. And I was a draughtsman some years ago........ But the end product looks really good and that’s what matters ........
