Hot Rods Sexiest Valve Covers Ever

Found them on Craigslist, he even included the fasteners. I think he bought a set of 62’ finned corvette aluminum covers!

 

Picked this mismatched set up at a swap meet today for $20 bucks, early no name Mickey Thompson and an Ansen with an Eelco breather.

 

I like the stock painted covers the best. The Mercury covers above are another example. I think the 454/427 or the 348/409 stock painted covers look best... I prefer an engine to be more power full then pretty... I did like this set of finned aluminum Weiand valve covers that were in the window or Berels Auto parts...

 

I have a set of Moon finned covers and a pair of chromed stock covers, but I like the stock covers in gold best. They really set off the blue! (Or vice-versa)
