    I've never been a fan of the 59 Ford's rear end treatment. The brake lights are too big for that rear end for me. I'd have to smooth out the 59 tail light section, and put a pair of 59 Caddy tail lights in the back up light housing area.

    Yeaaahhh, as if the rear overhang behind the axle wasnt already long enough. But hey, if I had a 2dr I'd put a conti kit on too! Why not? Lol

    I've wondered on how cool they'd look with leaving the fenders the factory length along with the bumper in the factory position, all without a lot of add-ons, and recessing the trunk 8 or 10 inches. A whole lot of body work involved, but it might look more designed rather than added on. Probably the best way to do it would be by Photoshop.

  24. My dad had one same color less the cool wheels. It had a 312 with T-Bird valve covers and a 3 speed. Unfortunately it was totaled out just before Xmas of 1963.

  25. Home grown safety wheels. I've seen centers made from heavy diamond-plate steel on figure-8 cars.
