Those modifications look period correct as f---.
If those pic are recent, It looks like it hasn't been touched in 50 years.

  3. The ad says sitting over 30 years.
    Located in Cali.
The distributor looks out of place

Looks like the engine has updates. HEI and block huggers, maybe.

The HEI and carb, and possibly the chrome block huggers are later, but as a whole it looks pretty vintage. I like it.
Later intake as well as an alternator and newer radiator. It’s had some updates. Still like it.

Seems like the seller would find a bigger market, and probably a higher price, if he’d title it.

Reminds me a a Popular Hotroding project car from the early 70s but it had a Pontiac in it.

  14. Exactly.
That’s a deal. Wonder why some Bama guy isn’t driving that.
But it’s probably not street rod enough for most guys here. Needs some useless billet and a LS to be cool where I live.

I’d rock it if I could afford it! I would drop the rear just a smidge to get rid of the stink bug look though. And go back to a small cap distributor as well.

Seems like the only thing holding it back is the paperwork. Otherwise it should have been long gone.

For sure. But heck, when $$ were tight I sold some stuff, not all car related, to get the $$ in my hand that was needed.
