Technical 1941 Ford Serial Number Help

    Need to get a Cali Vehicle Verification so I need to locate my serial number along the left front frame rail.

    Problems:
    - Powder coated
    - Subframed
    - Shock mount added

    I’m hoping someone can narrow in where I need to grind off the powder coating to hopefully locate the serial number or let me know if the shock tower or control arm are welded over where it’s probably located.

    It's either under the shock mount or the A arm mount. Sorry.

    There are other places it was stamped though. On top of the frame rail at the mid point of the frame (B pillar), and on the rise over the rear axle. These will involve removing the body completely.
