Headed to Boise Id this Saturday for a wedding that doesn’t start till 5:00 pm. Looking for some car related stuff to check out Friday night and Saturday. Any suggestions. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I am not from Boise nor have I ever been there. However, when in a town I am not familiar with I search for museums first. There is one in that city called Yankee Car Museum I found on the net. I also look for antique stores on the web as I am a petroliana junky. Maybe Firebird Raceway as an option. Nice truck by the way; love the old original appearing vehicles.
Contact Hot Rod Works in Caldwell or Kenny's Rod Shop in Boise. They should be able to give you some pointers.
You can check out the USRI Events Calendar at, www.usri.org or www.facebook.com/USRoID/. Today 5/21/21 nothing going on car related. But as mentioned before, the Yanke Car Museum is a good place to visit.
Eat at least one meal at Westside Drive Inn on State Street, down on the north end of town. Trust me, it's been there since the 50's!
