Hey @Ryan, Have you seen these shirts? I've been getting a lot of internet adds for Hawaiian shirts and some of them have obvious rip off artwork.

  6. Indeed. I seem to remember a few years ago some ass clown in Australia ( apologies to our Australian members) was doing the same thing.

  9. Hey @redo32 , if the ad popped up in your IG feed or FB or wherever, did you make a note or screencap the "company" behind it?

I'll bring it to his attention... likely he has already seen it.

What possible purpose would a six-inch fan off the crank serve?

That outfit is out of England. Jimmy Buffet might be real interested in that outfit too, several shirts on that site plagiarize popular Margaritaville shirts.

Isn’t that the handle to rotate the motor on the engine stand?

  25. Copywrite infringement. Theft of intellectual property...companies with deep enough pockets chase this shit all the time. It's no different from stealing products from a shop or anywhere else and selling them.

Some people are just too ignorant and do it, some have no ethics or morals and don't care, in some parts of the world they have no clue what you're talking about when you tell them you can't just copy someone else's work and sell it (and as a result have no laws about it, which causes frustration to put it mildly.)

Hopefully these people will respond positively to a tap on the shoulder.

In the last 3-1/2 hours since I tracked down the one I posted about in post 20 I have had about 6 of their adds pop up on my FB page all with different names. Then it looks like the old adds disappear after an hour or so.

  27. When you say 'out of England' I wouldn't necessarily assume that is for real, beyond being a front to make it seem legit or 'trustworthy.'

    Maybe I'm just cynical

Well looking at the original Kiwi4d posted I retract my statement. Blatant ripoff but how to get after the? Perhaps Ryan should take it as a compliment or set up a group buy of authorized shirts?
