Hot Rods 33 WILLYS--REVISITED

I am not really a gluten for punishment but I thought I would run a thread on my Willys again. I think 90% of the HAMB members hated this car. That's geniuses KyleTucker and his wife presenting me with the " Detroit Speed Builders Choice " trophy. Detroit Speed a million dollar business. And that's Doug Herbert [Top fuel drag racer ] presenting me with " Best Competition Car " trophy. I also won " Participants Choice " at The Mooresville Dragway show.

 

I think it's cool.....

What headlights ?

 

The headlights are 5 3/4 " fog lights [ front 3/4" ] with French Cibie sealed beams. The back portions are huge 37 Buick housings sectioned down to fit the small 5 3/4" front portion. Then I added the park lamps from another set of headlights.

 

THANK YOU GUYS. I guess not every HAMB member has " traditional " blinders on. I am humbled .

 

I parked next to this car @ the Autofair several years ago. The fit and finish is spot on and Dennis builds everything himself. Dennis is a gentleman and will answer all of your questions. He has other cars but this is my favorite...............

 

I wasn't too sure at first, but the more I study it, it's really a wild build...you won me over
