Does the seat have to be modified for the roll bar? Something looks like it would have to be modified?

I'd meant to shoot both the engine and interior but got distracted. Looking
at it now I just don't remember the seating or how the bar was mounted.
This car has gone to England for the Goodwood Speed Week so, and maybe
I'm being naive, I'm thinking it was done right. It sounded mean as hell
when it left the lot. Wait, here's another pic but it's no help. Sorry.

That’s okay! It is a good long race car for sure!

Jim Roberts and his '62 Vette are alive and well in Kalamazoo. Car is stored at Roberts' Corvettes & Classics. Still runs and most recently featured at The Gilmore Car Museum's local drag racers exhibit. Thanks for asking!

I just got off the phone with my friend Kevin who confirmed that this is a picture of the 61 he and his friend raced in the late 60’s.
    B/MP
    Non H.A.M.B. friendly L88 427
    Edlebrock tunnel ram
    Pair of 660’s
    3 SW electric fuel pumps
    Muncie
Pontiac rear end with Henry’s axles with either 5.13 or 5.38’s
Across the line at over 7000
    Ran 10.51 at 132
Not bad for a street car in the late 60’s.
