Hot Rods manhattan raceway park , kansas

anybody here race at manhatten raceway park in kansas i raced there in 1970 -71 while in the army at fort riley it eas 1/4 mile at the time

 

I did, once, while still a kid in about 67. That, and seeing EJP run there about the same time are my only memories of the place.

 

saw bennie osborn the wizard test his new ( first one any of us ever saw) rear engine top fueler there he blew it up about ten feet out also saw ( i think ) kansas john wiebe test there

 

Did that become Little Apple Raceway?

 

I raced there from 1978- 1990's, it became little apple race way in the '80's . Last i heard about the track they had really cleaned it up with some landscaping. It was the most fun track I ever raced at .

 

i just looked for it online and it appears to be midwest raceway now

 

Right out by the airport on the way to Ogden. I think the roads are all different now.
