As you said, you picked them out.....even if it was under short timeline.

It won't matter how ugly they are as long as the car is fast. :)

Ugly is personality, raw power is attitude. They both go together

Diamond back tires offer a smooth tire that has been buffed. They will make any type of custom tire that you want

I know what you mean. I tried sanding the sidewalls on some old tires and was amazed at how well they looked! Diamond Back will sell you most of the popular radials with all the side markings removed. They have to be black walls, if there white lettering the white band will come out and you'll end up with a white wall but not a bad looking white wall..

I can't see what the sidewalls of the tires look like when I'm driving the car down the road.
If people (I cleaned up what I was going to write) don't like the looks of the sidewalls of my tires, they won't like the rest of the car very well either. Their opinion means nothing to me, but if they are willing to buy my next set of tires, I may reconsider... Gene

Those Atlas portawall are shite, had a set on mine , when I managed to get them to stay on they rubbed grooves into the sidewalls of the tyres ruining them

Tire manufactures are having a pissing match to see who can decorate the sidewalls of their tires with the ugliest shit. Extra points are apparently awarded for 100% sidewall coverage. Also the harder it is to do the tire dressing routine, the more points are awarded. Doesn’t seem like any particular manufacturer is running away with the contest, in fact things are so close that it is nearly impossible to declare a winner as of late!
