Do I see 58 Chevy rear quarter panel on this Ford ? Looks Good

 

Really starting to think we should ban photos of cars with those horrible Hagen headlights.

 

I'd trade a drawer pull ladened grill for some Hagen headlights...............
And I don't even like Hagen headlights!

That or if HAMBers would just have the self control to not post them. I can't stand 'em. Really ruins the look of many a '50's car. Attend a swap meet or go to feePay or something. There's good early 50's Merc and Ford rings out there. Even could use a 57 Ford ring and make your own stainless inside ring. Hagans are an aftermarket kit. If you are going to go that route, at least buy the aftermarket good one's from Butch's Cool Stuff in Ohio.

I gave these Hagans from above a little "adjustment"

 

I think the inspiration for the Hagen headlights is the 1965 Dodge D-series truck

Love all the little details on his car, like the side stainless trim disappearing into the fins.
Jeff had such a talented eye for Kustoms. Every car he built was just perfect to me. RIP Jeff.

Built this “El Camino”in 1953. The body was from a wrecked ‘51 . The chassis is ‘46 Chevy. Cadillac rear fenders. It had a Jimmy 6 with 5 carburetor log manifold and 4:44 rear end. The first photo was taken at the Oakland Roadster Show in 1954. A family of master craftsman and their love of cars......"
