Not often you see real wire wheels with gennie knock offs on any car let alone a 55 bird. Nice touch.

I think K-H wires make any baby bird better. IMG_2503.JPG 64097192156__178E8910-3D88-4C83-A5BD-48AD04115734.JPG

Just in case anyone is looking for an early bird project. There is one listed for sale on the list of Mr. Craig. In eastern shore Maryland. Not mine. Gene.

  17. Went to a local cruise night this past Friday at a local church and zeroed in on a real nice white 64 with black interior. When I asked the guy sitting next to it if it was his and told him what I thought of it, he began to tell me the story of it being a survivor with 50,000ish original miles. Then, he tells me how it will be for sale soon. So, I had to ask...to find that the price was pretty dang reasonable for a very nice, solid, unrestored car. This stuff is like a drug...trying to resist the temptation to even consider it... I meant to get a pic, but got tired of people standing in the way so never did. Thinking the project 64 that I have also considered recently is more in my price range if I was to get another bird.

My late grandfathers, he is reason I got into old cars. After he passed I said to my nana I would buy it off her, but kids came along and that changed life a wee bit. It’s still local at least.

I had to do some work to it a while ago and just had to take the springs out to see how it looked
