A lady on a local page found these items in her father's basement. He was a heavy duty mechanic and did some carpentry/woodwork in his retirement years. I see no correlation with either subject. (???)

These devices are approx. 8" wide and the stamp/logo reads "Pat. Pending - House of ??? Chicago. "
