I just picked up a '65 Econoline van from Pocket (Hamber). I need a windshield for this thing. What other years of vans/pickups if any will fit this thing? And is a Falcon van the same thing as an Econoline. Sorry, don't know a damn thing about these vehicles. Thanks guys/gals.

  2. I believe there is an Econoline yahoo group. Hell...if you do a search here, it will most likely come up. I don't have those links saved since I sold mine. maybe Caffeine still has them.

61-67 Econoline van/pickup should all have the same windshield. The Falcon van in the same years was kinda like a trim package....almost. Kinda how the Torino and falcon cars were in 68-70ish. Same vehicle, different name, different trim packages.

Can anyone else confirm this before I go off and buy the wrong one? I need a "definitely", not a "should". Thanks.

I had a 65 Econoline for 6 years. The 61-67 have the same windshield and damn near everything else. The Falcon just has a different trim package and traditionally more windows. I believe that beginning in 65, the crossmember was strengthened, but other than that it's the same. Oh yeah, the 67 had rectangular tail lights. Good luck. Finding a replacemnt windshield for mine was a cinch (in Seattle at the time) and cost less than 180 bucks.

    Good luck.
