Amen. I've owned three. Worked in a shop where we service and test drove Healeys, XKs, XKEs, MGAs, MGBs. I liked Healeys the best. We turned away the Fiats.
I’d like a chicken fried steak, your phone number, an iced tea, your phone number, and a slice of apple pie. If you don’t mind .... your phone number.
I had an MGB and a Bugeye Sprite, but I always wanted a AH 3000. In fact I still do I love the look and the sound of them. BTW, on my way to work one morning, every wire in my Sprite burned to the insulation ...EVERY ONE. I was drafted shortly after so my parents did something with it. I couldn't keep a clutch in the MGB until I found the problem was the pilot shaft bushing. The last time it happened before I sold it I drove it home from work, pulled the engine and trans, replaced the bushing and drove it to work the next morning. Pulled the engine and trans by myself.
