Projects 1940 ford gasser barn find

    Stored in a carport for 40 years , as always , the owner passes away , everything gets auctioned off . I just made it home with gem ! body is pretty solid , today will tell if the mystery Ford fe setup beyond stuck , all four wheels needed some beating to get the shoes loose ! a4.jpg

    Looks like she had some big shoes on the rear once! Looking forward to seeing it washed, and see what's under the dust.

    Yep those chrome valve covers indicate a high Performance version (unless someone swapped out the originals). BUT it looks like standard log exhaust.
