Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BOSTONCAMARO, May 4, 2021.

  1. I guess are cut? no bolt holes, I am not familiar, thinking someonw cut to put on another type of engine for a Hemi look? I am baffled....or made like this?

Made to cover flathead. They were cast specifically for flatheads, not modified to fit.

Yeah, no good any longer for keeping oil in and dirt out of the top of an engine.

  6. Looks more like fake Ardun then fake Hemi to me.

Deuces, Speed Gems, SR100 and 2 others like this.
  7. Purpose built head covers for 59AB. The notch is for the water outlet.
Used to see them occasionally, hardly ever now.
    Honest Charley did sell them.

Didn't Thickstun make some finned head covers?

  9. Thickston did.
Made for flathead powered boats to keep the water off the plugs.
No plug holes like the ones pictured by the OP.
