Besides the swap meet area. We once again have Vehicles For Sale. And this year were bringing back parking for Special Interest Vehicles.

The areas located just outside of the stadium at the top of picture and along the left and right side is where the swap meet area will be located. Easy to walk and to keep track of where you already walked.

Oh boy the weather man is calling for Sunny and 70 degrees on Sunday. Hope the wife will let you go and not talk you into doing yard work Sunday!

Somehow it reminds me of my first trip to Hershey in 1969 1969.jpg

  19. Thanks to CSRA for putting on a great well organized event! Sure plenty of room to grow. It was sure great to be able to go to a swap meet and see many old friends. Only critique is the hot rods, customs and car chorale were too far from the swap meet. But LARS has been doing that for years.
Seriously, it was amazing how smooth everything seemed to go. This will continue to be a nice spring event. And the weather could not have been better.:) Nice Job Guys and Gals.
I did lots of walking and not much picture taking. But here are the few I did take.

By the time I made it over to the car area most stuff was gone. And I was dragging ass from all the walking at the swap meet area.;)

Debbie and I had a great time, nice hour and a quarter trip that filled the trunk of her car with stuff to flip to fund the projects. Liked the easy drive from 84 to the field, did anyone else notice how quiet it was up there, must have something to do with the open airport landscape. Thanks CSRA!

Can't miss the CSRA Swap Meet! I may have missed the very first one along with the second, but those memories of the Superior Spring parking lot filled with vendors and the people I've meet over the years, really are priceless.

Great day and a great turnout. Too Big, I had to leave early as I couldn't walk that far. Luckily I got a ride back to my car from one of the club members.
Hats off to Ronnie and the rest of the club for a great day ! ! !

Everyone at CSRA would like to Thank everyone who attended our first event of the season. Starting at a new location went extremely well. Plans are now underway for next years event same location same day First Sunday in May. Next years event will be a LOT bigger the vehicles for sale area and special interest parking will be moved so they connect to the vendor area. More food vendors will be added as well.
My big score this year an Ital blower assembly for the Ford Flathead. I'm always amazed at the amount of early stuff that's available at our swap meet.

The easy off 84 and onto the field was a really nice feature. Glad you were able to add to the Flathead parts collection Ron. See you all next year, thanks again! Bob

had fun and got some parts, hoping the swap meet is bigger next year, seemed about half of what lake compounce used to be. Worth the drive for me either way, I always find something.
