I would like to see this car with a hood. I think it would look better.

    ...Quoted from ad...

"The car has a late distributor conversion and the water pump is converted to a big block Chevy"

While Hamb friendly from certain angles this Hotrod has some OT details I won't mention...but I am curious why one would mod a flathead and shove it back when plenty of vintage Flathead goodies in these departments are available...just to improve cooling...didn't eliminate an electric fan...

...maybe the Hood was ditched to keep it cool...

Center Doors make unusual Hotrods without question and look pretty good doing it without a doubt...

I wonder how getting in a seating position pans out...with the door positioned that way...

The later axle/spring was a quick way to get a little lower and pick up juice brakes in the process. Like everything else it changed other stuff.

You could hang a bathing beauty in a swing from the roll bar and be a big hit in parades or cruses.

  9. Here's one for those who have a better memory than mine. In a Street Rodder magazine about a hundred years ago, there was a feature on a couple of rodded brass era T speedsters. One was white, the other red, I think. Anyone have pics of such things?? They had Pinto or Iron Duke power, possibly. I always admired the basic simplicity of those things.

  17. The Coffee Grinder, built in in the United States in the early sixties (I think, it was featured in Car Kulture Deluxe magazine) then sold to a guy from England who in turn took it back home with him. Recently restored by the owners family and driven ever since.
