What is your favorite pic from The Rodder's Journal ???
Post them up. I know some out there have the whole collection, so let's see stuff both old and new.
Please, no comments about the TRJ situation. This is not the place.
    So, who's first............................

  7. I apologize in advance for the heart palpitations this might cause. It’s the V8 60 in the Kelly Brown/ John Mumford track T. Issue 56. [IMG]

  14. So..........what is the situation you are referring to.............or is it just something you made up?..........andyd

  15. I actually fully agree with him, why can’t there just be pictures from what is/was a great magazine without the drama, keep that in the thread that’s already going for that

Not involved, nor wanting to be, in any of that. Do a search for yourself. It's not hard to find.

Not trying to offend anyone. Seems to be going mostly ok so far..............

I see what your trying to do and maybe you dont want to be involved in the shitshow but sometimes when you stand too close to a fistfight that you dont want to be involved in you get a stray elbow to the teeth. This would be a great thread after the dust settles but right now its gonna be tough. Welcome.

"Never argue with a fool, because at a distance, other people cannot tell who is who."

It would be impossible to pick just one "favorite" pic from TRJ.

But what immediately came to my mind when I read the question was Brian Bass' 34 coupe, so here it is.

  20. It's the Hirohata for me....thought I had a pic of the picture itself, but I only have a picture of it in the background....and I'm not in that office today to take a better one. LOL

I was a little put off by your request to delete my initial "tongue in cheek" post...thus my reply (rant).
I understand your thinking...putting a little positive light on the TRJ...it just may be little too soon...but us, we're cool:cool:

It's pretty obvious, with so many HAMBers bashing Steve Coonan (unfairly I think), that anything TRJ is the drama of the week.

I'm incapable of following directions correctly, so I'll contribute a funny story along with a cropped photo.
So ... Steve's taking full advantage of the pre-sunset late afternoon position of the sun for the photo session, which just so happens to coincide with the evening roosting into the trees of the resident peafowl, on the Carrillo Ranch. We set my car up at one spot, and seemingly out of nowhere, we're inundated with peacocks preening in their own reflections in the chrome. They wouldn't leave the car alone long enough for Steve to get a shot in, so in this photo, I'm literally on my hands and knees on the other side of the car trying to shoo the damn birds away!
At some point, Steve runs out of film and gets up to reload with another roll of film, and I heard him mumble out loud; "It's true. The guys with the coolest cars always attracts the chicks" ... we laughed for about half an hour over that one ;)
