It only has the one door and it does clear
In fact it will blow the dust off your shoes as you get in

Nobody can see both sides at the same time so minor differences will never be noticed anyway!

    More parts came today,
to put together the last primary tube.
    Cut the bend as before,
add some straight tube to the straight leg,
and a pie cut piece to connect to the starter tube
    Weld them all up
And start the clean up process.

  7. I am liking the progression. How long til you get a "what kind of six cylinder is that?" question?

Paul, I don't want to nitpick, but I line up the seams in the pipe, when adding a straight section. Good job !

    thanks Marty,
yeah, this time I looked more at the fit than the seam,
on the straight legs anyway, not much choice when curve meets curve.

Clean up is done with rotary burr, file, sanding discs in angled die grinder, mini DA and regular DA.

Headers came out great! As well as the rest of your build. Looking forward to seeing more updates.

Proportions of body, frame, wheelbase came out like it was planned that way... (grin)
I was 'Ivo Crazy' when Tom's T reveled Norm's, the lines were all nice and proportional, where Norm's was all over the place. (wild, but Tom's was more 'pedigreed')
Yours has joined the ranks of careful adjustments and smooth finish, all done with genuine stuff...
Great job. Thanks for all the pics and details! Gave me some good ideas!

    I took this video yesterday
today watching it I see it a little differently..
part of me says: yes, this is starting to look like I am heading in the right direction.
another part says: what the hell is that?

Pipes sanded with 100 grit in the DA and wiped down with Ospho to slow down surface rust while I move on to the next phase, no paint, yet.

Paul,, I know this is a bit OT, but could you take a better pic of the mascot on radiator cap in the foreground? Looks like Northrop Gamma? Is it vintage or custom?

I'm interested too...I think it's a Gee Bee that's been on an artistic licenced adventure...mind you I could not find one minus the fancy skirted landing gear...

Yes, it's a toy styled after the GeeBee on a whittled steel stand in an old Model A cap. I used an epoxy putty to bond the toy to the stand and carved a little aluminum propeller that spins in the wind.
