Question Ryan, does it have to be pictures of actual work, or is it cool if I put together a tech “article”. With generic pictures, diagrams etc? On an often discussed and misunderstood subject. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I’m good if it’s not, no worries. Maybe I’ll pm you my thoughts and see from there. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
And it’s game time! The boss gave me his blessing! Thanks for doing this. Regardless of who wins where else is there a source of tech and knowledge like this place! Get to work boys! (And ladies!) Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I am 100% for this. Is this old-time rules where all new non-Tech threads get closed down until the end of the (double) week? If it is, I'd love to see some kind of counter that tabulates how much stuff gets deleted or locked by people who have no idea what's going on during those two weeks. I'll try to come up with something useful to post, I've already got an idea. I'd also like to mention that I'm totally not still sour that my first ever 2 door conversion tech thread 16 years ago lost out to a guy who hydro-formed an exhaust pipe for a minibike. I never lay awake at night thinking about that. It doesn't bother me at all, that's why I'm not mentioning it here. /s
Great news, count me in for $100.00. Just tell me where and when to send a check. BTW, today is my 10th anniversary on this Forum !
So stuff like that is allowed? Kinda figured it would follow traditional guidelines. This is a first time for me, but i wouldn't think using a 3D printer or water jets etc wouldn't be allowed? Is it wide open on the guidelines?
Hell yeah! I was actually thinking the other night that it's been forever and a day since the last tech week. I love the creativity that comes out of these. And since I got goosed on another thread about putting my money where my mouth is, I'll up the pot by $100 as well. A real Benjamin, not our Canadian funny money.
Looking forward to this! I love tech week for the creativity and ingenuity that's shown. On a side note, I know how people in Texas say everything is bigger there but I didn't know that included a week. Up here we use the traditional seven days! LOL
no mcdonald's gift cards is a given. everyone knows the hot rodder's staple is the wendys junior bacon cheeseburger.
