I cannot truthfully say why I like this photo without being removed by HAMB moderators. However I do feel the black 51 Ford enhances the look by its 2 protrusions in the grille..

Some are tough guys that don't mind a guy making a profit when they have a job. Too many others these days are whiney crybabies that can't stand when someone else makes a profit.
Don't like your boss, your job or working conditions? Find another one, no one is making you do it.

As the railroads expanded in the U.S. during the late 1800's and on into the early 1900's, towns and communities sprang up alongside the tracks. At times, this led to conflict between automobile transportation and trains. who wound up having to share the street. 90% of the time, the right of way belonged to the railroads, as in most cases, they were there first. In many towns in the U.S. (and the world actually), trains running right through the middle of towns still exists. Train fans call this "Street Running", and drive all over the nation with their cameras to catch the action. Here are a few shots from "back in the day":

Even today, part of the experience of going shopping in Hanoi is not getting run over when the trains come through...

  18. The ghost town above with the train and narrow street is Burke, Idaho. Notice the log flue in the background... There used to be a lot of these in the Northwest serving local sawmills. A big 'double-dog-dare' was to ride a log in those things....NO thanks!

I have never seen any information on the speed of the Porsche at the time of the accident. If the Porsche was exceeding the speed limit then the driver/vehicle lose the right of way. In other words if Mr. Turnipseed was not expecting the Porsche to be driving in excess of the speed limit then he would not at fault while making a left turn.

My guess would be that this is the reason "he didn't even get a traffic ticket".
