I've seen lots of posts for '40 Fords here but what i've never seen on this board is much love for the '40 Chevy so let's see some. Post 'em i f ya got em!

Here is mine, Phoenix, AZ. from 1965 to 1968...done in our carport...won lots of street races, lucky that no one ever got hurt...

I love 40 chevys, I have had 3 of them. A COUPE ,2 DR SEDAN,AND A 4 dr sedan. I NEVER got any of them on the road.

 

@jimmy six I recall seeing this one in a magazine years ago.

 

1940 was a banner year for car designs. Almost all makes were /are pretty cool. Seems like post-war started the 'design' wars, and by the late '50s, designs had run amok.
JMHO, but you KNOW I'm right!

 

@jimmy six In the article i recall the car is white and has a six in it, at Bonneville.

owned 59 yrs, never been off frame, built from orig. shell. Only 2 nos parts. exterior.

 

I’m in. The red ‘40 belongs to my dad, the ‘46 is mine, aaanndd! It’s good to be the King, baby! A local busker!
