Folks Of Interest What decals do you have on your current ride?

Earlier in this thread I said that I didn't do stickers. I did put this on a Dodge that I had, and I may put one on my T Bird...

 

I also added a couple to my Thunderbird since I replied here a while back, but only got a pic of the cool kid one...

 

I'd like to get one of these cool looking AUTOLITE Star decals.. Every car I had those plugs on always turned out to be a great car.. I'm done with fixing them up and selling them..

 

Long-a-go I had a small [Schooler Cams] sticker on firewall,now only a small sticker HAMB in lower corner of windshield an HAMB tag topper.
Guess I'm not much on sticker,but I do still run my old alum clubtag.

 

All my stickers have a reason behind them ,Car was built in Tarry town I have products from these manufacturers on the car... Some fun ones under the hood... This one is a replica of a window decal that was on the front windshield when i got the car so I thought it would be cool to find another one;....
Oh and here is a tip , get some magnetic sheeting, its the rubber stuff used for refrigerator magnets and some dash stickers we get at car show, and put your stickers on them , this way you can put stickers on the metal surfaces like dash and fenders and remove them with out leaving marks,and you can re locate stickers as well even off one car and on to another!

 

Actually a sticker. The only one on my car, inside the trunk lid, similar to how the factory placed Posi labels.

 

Mostly just parking tickets

 

Had to chase down some parts yesterday, 2nd time out this year, let the good times roll.

Going a little different direction than what’s been posted but still relevant.
This Newport Harbor High School in So Cal decal on the rear lift gate of my 56 Merc
must have been put on by some high school teenager back in the 60’s. Must of been his/her ride to school.
I was at a car show in Huntington Beach a time ago and this guy comes up and totally goes nuts over the decal. He attended Newport Harbor in the 60’s and remembers the decal of their mascot at the time. Imagine a decal bringing back so many memories! Cool stuff

This is my worthless opinion concerning ANY decals, stickers or brand names, corporate or not on my car. I do not want any displayed any place on it, any where. I painted over the Edelebrock AVS tags on the carbs not wanting them on the car but could not remove them. There is of course a "Ford" blue oval on the grill and "Chrysler" on the valve covers, and after market "HEMI" chrome script" on the valve covers and one on the deck lid and that I consider plenty. Been this way since I was eight when I stripped all that crap off my first brand new bicycle.
How ever my roll-aways are covered in tons of them, to numerous to get into.

 

I remove any decals I can from parts, don't have any decals/stickers on any of my rigs. Back in the days when dealers put their license plate frames (with dealer name, etc), that would be the first thing I removed. If a dealer/supplier wants me to provide a moving billboard for their product(s), they can pony up some advertising $$$ or kiss my rosy-red a$$. After all, are you impressed if I have stickers that tell you what shocks, muffler bearings, tires I have on my car? I didn't think so...

 

Right on brother I feel and felt the same and agree.

 

Waited years to find the trans just to make the decal legit.

 

I have a couple stickers on my rod.

I don't have much glass so I plan to put a couple other event stickers on the inside of the trunk lid (Lone Star Roundup, Jalopyrama, Hot Rod Hundred, Midwest Roadster Run).
