Technical Stock battery location on '34 Roadster

    This may seem like a dumb question, but, where is the battery located on a stock '34 Ford Roadster?

    if your firewall is butchered and needs work or replacing check out '37-'39 truck firewalls... they look alot like the '33-'34s and give you about 4" more engine bay and have the battery box built in... DSCN1843.JPG

    under the floor on drivers side. there is a removable access door in the floor

    Thanks. Would it fit on the passenger side as well?

    you would have to cut a access hole in the floor board.

    Here are 2 photos from my car . The one you can see the access door on the left floor board. The other picture is where I mounted the battery on the right side under the floor board. I made an access door in the floor to access the battery.

    That's perfect - thank you. That's exactly where we were thinking of mounting it. Out of the way, fairly easy access, and closer to the starter.
