Thanks! Can't wait to start driving it.
That's the plan! As soon as I can get it hauled to my place I will be driving it. It has a dump bed so should be pretty easy to load a vehicle on with good ramps. I also have a 1965 F600 that new was a service truck for Uhaul. THen a couple other tow companies used it for towing. I picked the F600 up a week or so before the CrewCab.
SOmeone removed the rollback bed prior to me buying it.

Maybe because he is in his 90's and on dialysis 3 days a week and no longer able to drive?
That is why he allowed me to buy the truck as he is unable to drive anymore . .

  6. Sad to read - that dialysis is tough stuff. He will be happy someone will do something with it if he's kept it that long. What engine powers it now ?

  7. Sorry, didn't know that. Dialysis at any age is tough so he must be quite a tough 90 something year old dude to even be able to do that.

It has the original 330 FT HD engine in it. Rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago.
5spd trans with 2 speed rear.

A couple from my father in law of the good old days!! The 3 window was a $100.00 in 1981 by Viborg South Dakota. The doors were welded but he said it didn't look like it made it to the track. 20210417_161909.jpg The 32 is as found and the first driveable version of the 5 window he drives now. It would be around 1987.

Those are some great finds from way back when! Can you elaborate more on them?

I just don't want to hijack the thread. The 3 window he only had for a short time. He stripped the paint and chopped the top before someone else wanted it more I guess.

The 32 he still drives a lot. The first version had a z'd rear frame, 41-47 rear end and trans with a column shift. The engine was a 57 Chevy 265 with a 58 2x4 manifold and carbs. He kept knocking transmissions out but it was fun.

Version 2 has a new chassis, 327, Muncie wide box, ford 9". He has upholstery in it now.

What is that? I’ve never seen one before. Kinda cool for a four door.

Pretty sure it's a Moskvich 400/420. That roofline is just begging to be shortened up into coupe length and then cut like a '40 Mercury, has a very similar shape. This could be a cool custom.

Yes it's a Moskvich. I've seen a few made in to hotrods, but never a custom.

Russian knock-off of the 55-56 Packards actually looks pretty good for a Commie rip-off.
Never have I seen a wagon version. Was this one done as a ambulance to began with?
