I haven't seen any shrunken heads in a long time. I thought they were kind of cool

Make sure you stuff the sock in the front, and not the back

At my age I don't need a sock in back. 50/50 my pants are actually full.

  9. White VHT paint and actual car parts from the old days is valid, but gook wagon accessory shit aren't car parts...they're gook wagon accessory shit. For those who revere the history of corny decoration.

Egad...some local dilly has been sporting a Dixco tach, voicing about its 'rareness'...
He made a point to 'critique' my Sun 8,500 with original cup...centered atop my dash, natch'!

I kind of miss those little dogs with their bobbing heads and the little creatures with their blinking eyes sitting atop the package tray as additional turn signals.

And can someone explain what those "pecker tooth picks" actually are? Never heard the term or seen them.

  20. It's exactly what it sounds like, they're raccoon peckers lol.

Well, we call them "coondicks" in Alabama because that's what they are. To answer your question, it's the bone from a raccoon penis. Yes, raccoons do have a little bone in their penis.

Etched window glass was quite popular through the 70's, or early 80's, but I rarely see it on anything built since.
I guess it's still en-vogue in the lowrider community.

  25. My Uncle ran those disc's...........and nice duals there !

  26. Yup, it's local thing...Here in the Pacific NorthWET (not too wet this year), we have Salmon peckers in our hats.

Had on on the mirror on my 55 Metropolitan rag top and it got stolen when I was at work one day and I still think my mom took it and tossed it. Mom was probably cooler than I was in 1964.

Back to that sun visor, I have always hated those ugly ass things and around here the only guys who had them were Arkansas hillbilly fruit pickers. The migrant workers before Migrant became a race rather than a method of following the work. My step father bought a 50 Chevy 4 door with one of them and skirts and the first day I had it I threw the visor and skirts in the trash can. If I had stuck them in the shed I'd probably have enough money out of them to buy a good hot rod part now.

Full moons on street cars...no way.
Chrome wire wheels on hot rods...gotta' go.
Fake portholes on hood or fenders...Boy, we can thank Buick for that.
I don't mind the dual antennae on the '59 Chevy. The crap on the skirt is goofy.
