    These all had Snap-On markings on them.

    Wow! That looks like an original Snap-On set from early 1920’s! I won a gold plated reproduction set back in 1995 for their 75th Anniversary. C0FF64EF-A030-43CC-AEFB-9B90E1A17ACB.jpeg Very cool, I’d love to find one of those sets. Yours looks very complete. I do have one of those early flat ratchets, I think that one you change direction by pushing the square drive thru to the other side. What is the most amazing is that if they break, I would have warranties them for you, 101 years later!

    Yes. that is the type of ratchet it is. I've cleaned the sockets so far but the rest of it needs attention also. I would hate to have to carry this thing around, it is HEAVY.

    Looks like one extension may have had a cheater pipe on it .

    I've got one of those flat ratchets and snap on would not help me whatsoever.

    I have one like that which was broken. I showed it to the guy in the snap-on truck at work (years ago) and he said it was a military purchased tool and he wasn't supposed to touch it. He fixed it anyway.
