  7. If it is you’d have what appears to be a solid car to start with. Also, is just me or has the front of that roof been lowered about an inch.

If you're talking about the Olds I'd have to say I don't believe so.
It's sitting outside a shop with a '69 Cougar next to it and a Lambo
Countach that's out of the pic. No For Sale signs on any of them.

^^Wish I could but you're seeing the best of the three I took. Cramped
by other cars, trash and unfortunate sunlight.

I saw this retired rail in an old garage in a small town in Illinois this
    past weekend. The
owner is retiring, sold the shop and pulled this
down from above his office to take home. Last run in the in early '80s.
Garry's Highway Garage, Ashkum, Illinois, population 800.

You could always call them. Castle Motors, Brookfield, Illinois. 708-854-6060
I just saw the car last Tuesday. They specialize in Buick Grand Nationals so
maybe this is something they'd clear out.

1929 Rolls, owned by a guy in the next town, who bought it from the States, - he is the 2nd owner, and has only refurbished some of the wood, - everything else is untouched from 1929 !

Cat eyes. Not one of their more stellar design cues. Although after seeing them for 60 years they are beginning to grow on me...

One of the local geezers, in the green shirt, owns this super cool MB. He bought it of some Prince in India, check out the license plate. I can't make out the model, 220SC? Valuable I'm sure. Rare?

    Hello,

I just got back from getting my wife’s station wagon “smogged.” I have been going to this small place in an industrial tract near the coast for many years since 2011 with my own car. But, never with my wife’s station wagon. I found out that any new car is exempt from getting any smog work done for 8 years. So, from now on, it is every two years for the smog checks on our cars.

But, while I was sitting and waiting, across the lot was a very nice and clean looking Ford pickup truck. In talking with the next door business owner, it was a 1961 Ford truck in for some repairs. It looked like a daily driver, but very clean and stood like it was 1961. Sitting in this old industrial tract, I immediately went back to that year as we cruised by this place when we were on our way to the outstanding waves at the nearby U.S. Marine base back then.

Time flies, but somethings stay the same. The old industrial complex has been known as the “Surf Ghetto” in our circles since those early years, but there are so many different small businesses that make up the whole industrial area, back then and now, 61 years later.

The blue 1961 Ford truck… a time piece of history.

Went to pay the tax man today. He lives in a real high end cookie cutter sub division and a few houses down I notice this flat black mid 60s Plymouth wagon on mags with a giant Dodge hood scoop rumbling out of the driveway
