    Hi All,
Installing a wiper motor and transmission in my 50. I have the speaker grille out and as I am looking at the wiper motor should the screw heads that attach the motor to the transmission be facing toward me or should the rubberized nuts be facing toward me? In other words should I be able to see the screw heads or would I need to reach around back of the wiper motor nearest the firewall to reach the screw heads. The motor and transmission are out of the car at the moment, been apart for a long time..
    Thanks, S

The diagram is a little confusing, the wiper assembly goes behind those two "Z" shaped brackets, the mounting screws go through the "Z" shaped bracket , through the wiper flange and is secured by the flanged nut.

Perfect! Thanks guys. That clears things up. What book is that illustration from? My service book does not show that.
    Thanks, Steve
