    HOLY CRAP Ray!!! Your understanding of light and shadow to create 3 a dimensional embossed look is friggin' amazing...PLUS the fact that you have the "brush skills" to pull it off...just plain amazing:cool:

    Thanks for the kind words. Yes they are flat plates just painted to look three-dimensional. I did a How to post on how to paint them and finally found it. Can't believe I posted it 17 years ago! If you are interested in the technique,do a search titled: "Art: How to paint a personalized license plate" It was dated March 7 2004.
