Does anyone have a Buick, Olds, Pontiac or Caddy "B" body with an original seat that they could measure for me? The over all width is what I need, hope a 53 inch seat will fit?
    Thanks!

Sorry, Guys.......while I have had a ‘40 ‘B’ body Buick several years ago, it is long gone. I do have a ‘38 Special (‘B’ body) Coupe, but it is considerably narrower than the ‘40/‘41. Also have a ‘41 Special (‘A’ body) Coupe, also narrower than the ‘B’ body models, though a bit wider than the ‘37/‘39.

I will measure the ‘41 interior width and post the dimension. Will try to post tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday at the latest.

My 39 (big body) did not have the original seat in it when I got it. I could put a tape measure to it on Sunday (in storage now).the front edge of the seat will be at the narrowest part of the car, if you have 55 inch’s or so you should be good.

At the front edge of my seat it’s 51 inch door to door, 53 inch would be to wide
