Agree with what others have said, that’s a tough one to take regardless of the age. Will say a prayer for you and your friends and family. His suffering is over at least. Condolences my friend. Regards, Randy

So sorry to hear this. Cancer (what an awful word) has touched us all.

No Dad wants to outlive his children.

God is with you, call out to Him. He has been my strength through death.

Wow :( Even though you knew he was sick, it doesn't make this any easier to bear. My heart goes out to you. We live in a broken world where time catches up to everything and everyone. I hope that you have plenty of happy memories to fall back on and I pray that your grief will be bearable. Please do not mourn alone. Get near to someone you trust. May God comfort you in your grief.

  14. Please except my sincere condolences. Sometimes there is no explaining or reasoning why things happen. This was told to me a long time ago and I try to follow through on it in times of need, "Mourn your loss, but make sure to celebrate their life". Take it one day at a time and take care.

Sorry for your loss, keep the memories, and as they say in EOD, "keep your helmet on and chinstrap tight. Pleas let me know if you need anything at all.

What a tragedy, and horrible loss for you Loudbang! I don't know what you're going through with this loss, but we have gone through the cancer scare with our oldest daughter when she was in her early 40's. She ended up having to have a double mastectomy, but is now 6 years cancer free. We thank God every day that she's still with us, and know how fortunate we are to have this outcome.
Cancer is an evil bitch, and we don't understand how medical research can have billions spent to cure it, yet still no cure?
