Aside from that beautiful shot in the foreground, the Landmark Hotel in the background is also interesting. I lived in Las Vegas when construction started on the Landmark. It sat abandoned for a few years. There was talk that it was built out of plumb and that was why construction ended until engineers could study it. The structure was definitely out of plumb. You could see it while driving past it. Even now, if you look close enough, you can see some lean in every photograph of it. It looks slightly out of kilter even in the above photograph.
