Doesn't jute keep the interior cooler? I thought Dyna-mat (and similar products) was mostly for noise and vibration and didn't do very much for heat? I used both Dyna-mat and a thin layer of jute in my street rod, but it does not get wet inside...
On my last three car builds I went to Home Depot and bought Frost King #FV516. It's a thick foam with foil back, and self adhesive. Comes in 12" width and is 15' long. Took 2 rolls to do most cars, and 3 for a lot of coverage. It's $15-$16 a roll, so under $50 for 3 rolls.
I only see that available is 2" wide rolls, even from the manufacturer. https://www.frostking.com/products/pipe-duct-insulation/foam-and-foil-pipe-insulation

My cars and thinking are like yours but that 41 p/u is freaking hot inside, damn hot, I'm ready to put some kind of heat barrier in that thing and forget about how much it weighs. I'm even going to put the door panels on, thinking the fenderwell headers are pumping in heat through the door hinges or something, since I have the back of the fender cut open to get heat out of the engine bay.
