Anyone making the odd size hole saws or punch dies for making a gauge panel? I have full sets of electrical conduit knockouts and some common sizes but gauges seem to be that odd fraction.

So the common gauge sizes for me are 2&1/16, 2&1/8, 2&5/8 and 3&3/8. Both Dewalt and Milwaukee make hole saw cups in all those sizes.

Look up Trepanning Tool or Adjustable Tank Cutter.

    Yep,
I have made a few panels with Milwaukee hole saws and a drill press. Made a panel for 3 gauges where the radio was from the factory. I also helped dad with a new panel in the Cessna 180.

    Thanks guys
2 1/16 I think is what I have. Gonna make something custom for the model T roadster pickup. Banger flathead and want to run 2 temp gauges as I was shamed into removing my water pump by the locals. I want to check water input temp vs water out. I gotta see this from a science standpoint
