Anyone running these 15” chrome speedway wheels. Just curious about the quality of the chrome. Any pics? A95ADB67-F2CE-4DE8-9D12-8509DEC8D6B6.jpeg

Wax them and keep covered in a garage and they will be OK. It’s the bead lip that takes a shit if you don’t keep them clean and a good paste wax no matter whose the are..

The ones I saw from Speedway that my buddy bought about 7 years ago didn't have the vents. So I got the Wheel Vintiques Series 64..

The wheel in the photo look like a Ford..

  5. I have a pair for the front of my 46. Waiting on new tires before they go on the car though.

No issues with the chrome or anything? They look good on your car. I was looking at some 15x5 and 15x8’s for an early 60’s t bucket build

Do you still have to use the wheelsmith hubcaps because the nubs are small on the wheels?

    yes.

technically a stock cap will go on but I very nearly damaged the chrome trying to get it off. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay tighter than a stock cap on a stock wheel. Buy the wheel smith caps

Wheelsmith caps fit Wheelsmith wheels. I wrote inside mine “if your stealing these for your Ford wheel. Please put it back on because it won’t fit.” F4E132E1-144C-48D6-85F6-34F2E6A3B71B.jpeg

Another choice, cool! I'm eyeing the chrome Vintiques. Never dealt with Speedway. Beware of male dogs!!! They'll kill the chrome in a New York second :)

100 miles NW of you on the Red. Send me a PM, talk about Capital Dragway. :) Looking at your build thread, guy has some stuff up here you may be interested in.
