I just got this with a bunch of early sprint parts . No numbers on it. I thought maybe a marine engine for a sprint car
    I appreciate any help

Appears to be the head fr4om a single cylinder water cooled (possibly outboard?) 2 stroke motor

Judging from the size, I'd guessthat its the head for about a 250cc (or so) cylinder, not anything sprint car. Most likely from a kart or snowmobile engine, but an outboard is possible.

Might be 4cyl Elto individual head. There were midgets that ran the Elto converted outboard boat engines.

The Elto ran a rotary valve. This appears to be set up for a piston port. Also, the Elto had 6 head bolts and this only has 4.
