Hot Rods headlight fitment issue 40 deluxe

    Having issues with alignment tabs on bulbs hitting rims, do I grind these off or is there a better solution, using 12 volt system, thanks.

    Yes, I have run into this problem before.
    I have sanded the nubs off with an angle grinder and a fine sanding disk.
    I also run the sanded off part under the buffing wheel to make it shine more after sanding it down.

    I've ground them down using my Dremel and a stone grinding bit. But be sure to use protective gear. You don't want to breathe in or get that dust in your eye. Nasty stuff.

    Drake used to sell them all ground. Not sure if he still does.

    I take them off with a bench grinder using a fine grit wheel.
    Go slow.

    Glass shops have sanders to do that.

    I think I'll let the glass shop do it, have to pick up my side glass anyway, thanks.
