After selling my 55 (kinda abruptly) I was having trouble finding a new HotRod that I was really excited about. Then I got a call from Dirty Dan, he had a Brookville roadster project and was looking to downsize his AMAZING fleet. It took me a short time to realize it was too good of a project to pass up so me and Brandi hooked up the trailer and headed to St. Louis Mo. to pick it up. It was everything Dan said and more. Complete Brookville 32 roadster and fender package Gas tank Original 32 Grill shell A fitted 39 ford dash and 32 dash Original 32 seat Chrome windshield and chopped chrome 3" stanchions. Pete and Jakes Chassis with dropped chrome axle and split bones, Lincoln brakes, complete 9" rear, ladder bars, vega box, new tires and wheels Set up for a SBC and 5 speed The list goes on and on. We loaded it up and headed back to Nebraska. Brandi is thrilled at the thought of being back in a roadster and I regain my HAMB name. Its a project and probably at least a year out. Still need a few parts and misc. to complete. Most of all a 5 speed trans (if anyone has a good one for sale) Preferably a world class with a S-10 tail shaft I gotta say Dirty Dan and his Dad are two of the coolest and talented people we've ever known and glad to call them friends. Thanks again Dan!
Now thats how you start a project! Also, out of all the parts you got, having a mate that supports the project is the best part.
Wild guess, she gets first dibs on the drivers seat, right? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
