I love this '55. Wish it was mine. Had one in high school. But it was a rough tough rust bucket.

It’s got 383 stroker BluePoint motor from Summit. Turbo 400, a 10 bolt posi on coil overs. I’ve never dealt with a tunnel ram so I hope everything goes smooth lol

I've often wondered how many '55 two door sedans changed hands in the Sixties due to draft notices. I know mine did. The guy that bought it had finished boot camp and was assigned to Fort Sill in Oklahoma. He swapped out the dual quads and 4.88's and made a few other long distance trip changes. He was nice enough to let me drive it again right before I left for basic and he headed west. Last I saw of him and the car.

Besides being a 55 210 sedan nut I'm also relentless on the subject of wheels, so curious about your rear wheels, assuming they are HAMB "friendly", how about some photos.
Oh yeh, what is planned for the 55's interior?

The rear wheels are steel wheels but I’m looking at a set of slotted mags. This the interior so far haha. I have bucket seats but haven’t decided on what direction I want to go with yet.

When I was an impressionable lad in the early 70’s, my neighbor across the alley was building a ‘55 210 two door sedan. He would fire it up and my mother would get annoyed at the loud car back there. To me, sweet music.

Charlie painted it gold with black “vee” stripes on the hood and trunk. It also had a spray on black faux vinyl roof. Chrome reverse wheels with cheater slicks our back. A high winding 327 and a Muncie 4 speed was the motivation. I took the front bumper off my ‘56 in sincere emulation.

I fell in love with the car and really enjoyed it when Charlie would get it out for a spin. Sitting in the passenger seat was a thrill.

Sadly, cancer claimed Charlie way too young. His folks put the car up for sale and just my luck, I was broke from buying my first house. It’s been around thirty years and I have always wondered were it went. I hope it is still around and a gasser.
I miss Charlie, great guy, always willing to put up with a long haired kid with an old car.

I hope one day to build a similar recreation. For now, it’s all in my noggin. Cannot find any photos of it, so memories will have to guide me.

I got my '55 210 Delray 2 dr in July '70 as an almost senior in high school. It had a 327 with a four speed. I still have it and it still has a 327 with a four speed. I have got to learn how to post pictures.

My 55 has been my driver for 35+ years. Unfortunately, we’re not currently speaking. For some reason she decided to shit her engine on the way the the grocery store two weeks ago. The oil pan looks like a silver mine in there..
I’ll forgive her eventually and buy her a new soul.
