On our way to the fiasco. @burnzy37 and @yblockguynzput hours of work in, plus their merry helpers have put on another awesome Flathead fiasco weekend. Getting a few ailing flatheads up n running for the long anticipated event . It starts with a very decent size swap meet in our small town overloaded with genuine clean out items . Then the organisers go home to their very cool pad and fire up the smokers , delicious meats ensue. A cooler full of adult refreshments , the band was pumping great tunes. Flatheads ,bangers, choppers and way cool old bikes surround us. Its invite only . A few sore heads next morning for the dirt track racing on our ranch ,again invite only. It was great to see so many smiles and laughs all day . The weather was perfect the track was not too dusty and grudge racing ensued with nothing taken seriously , so everyone was a winner, some restored cars came just to watch , they really put some effort into going fast also. Some of the family was gracious enough to keep the BBQ going all day with hot food and cold drinks. Every one was buzzing about the event and eagerly anticipating next years invite to come out. It wasn’t about numbers ,just the cars and folk we love. .
@Kiwi 4d, thanks for the pics and sharing what looks to have been a fantastic event all around...the smell of burning grass must have been wafting in the air...
Looks like a good time for sure, drag races on the lawn no less. Congrats on keeping the America’s Cup are also in order. Kiwi’s can fly. Cheers.
Well, after reading the title I was ready to see pics of an 8 BA with cracks all over, haha Thanks for sharing ! Beautiful cars and the scenery is breathtaking. Hope to make it down there some day.
A great day was had by all. Couldn't have done it without the help of kiwi 4d and his family. Roll on next year!!
The mobile phone and shortage of Blue Tardis police phone boxes have made teleporting difficult now days.
Nice! that is some beautiful country. Those hedge rows are amazing. Someone has a heck of a job on their hands keeping them up! Looks like they do a good job of it as well.
