  2. Not a "hotrod truck" per se but cool nonetheless.

Saw this at the local Ace hardware store.

    Clean little pickup.

  3. Looks like the perfect place to start from. I could probably even live with the color being it's so nice.

^^ "Start", hell. That powder blue beauty is finished. Unless it takes a two inch drop
in the nose and an additional wheel/tire set for the occasional change. Maybe
true chrome reversed, no "smoothies", no polished Torq Thrusts and definitely
    no wire wheels.

That poor truck wouldnt last a week around your place. You'd be sizing up a hemi for it before the ink on the sales slip was dry.

  6. B.B. You know me to well. Seeing a 6cyl star on the Grill just makes my hart ache for it knowing I can fix that. The appropriate Motor and Trans alone will take care of the agreed 2" drop but I doubt I'd stop there.

  9. ^^^ That Ute thing is too cool! I wonder if it’s a US car and if so how’d it get here?

  10. I like the unibody line of Ford trucks but the Billet Wheels, steering wheel, Pro Street Tubs, and the L.E.D license plate lights kind of puts the wrong Date Code on it for me.

  12. There are guidelines posted at top of each sections, this is a copy.

We've set permissions so that you must chose a prefix for your thread. Those prefixes are limited to:

    2. Projects - Essentially, this prefix is reserved for build threads.

    3. Features - This is the prefix to use if you want to show off that super rare hot rod part or even a finished car.

    4. History - Reserved for threads focused on the history of traditional hot rods.

Please notice there is NO listing for R.R's and that would be where that Truck belongs.

    Hello,

Comparisons and surprises make two trucks, two minds, two similarities in So Cal, 55 miles apart a part of the hot rod world. Just before the pandemic madness, we were walking around the big box hardware store. As we were finished and going to our station wagon, up pops this cool Ford truck in the space a few slots over.

An older couple had just walked by us on their way into the store. They came from this light blue Ford pickup truck. It was one of the cleanest Ford trucks around. The lines and accessories made it look like it stepped out of a 1960’s neighborhood daily life scene. The home improvement store, the light blue color, the cool round mini hubcaps, whitewalls are the similarities to the Ace Hardware Store Ford truck photo by @ccain is uncanny from a distance.

We also like a nice rear end, too…

I love your lineup of old green pickups. I only have one.
