    On one of my FB sites today. Australian Hot Rod History.
    Genuine Barn finds from outback Victoria and NSW in 1971/72
    In the last picture is an early Holden ute 48-53

    A few more. The 32 Tourer is a great find and more so if it was today. The 34 coupe went to USA apparently within a few days of finding it. All found in early 70's

    In the early ‘80s I had the good fortune to spend about a week in Oz, mostly in the Sydney area. On a Sunday I somehow found out about a car show and went to it.

    There I saw a Holden Ute of that vintage and I was smitten! Obviously I have never forgotten it/them, but never really made an effort to acquire one.....figuring they are both scarce and expensive. Nonetheless, one of my favorite cars.
