I bought this spare cover the other day and I was actually going to cut it in half to make chopper fenders. But, it is actually in very good condition so I thought I'd figure out what it is from before I cut it and regret it. The rib is actually a stainless piece I think. I've done some looking and so far it seems to resemble mid to late '30s Buick or mid '30s Dodge.

Can someone tell me what I actually have?

I’ve no idea, but you say the rib is SS, how are the halves joined?

The tin is all one piece. The stainless is held on to the rib with 2 rivets on each end.

35-36 Ford look a lot like that. But I don't think they have a stainless trim.

It's not 35/36 Ford. I have one hanging in the garage in about that shape and it has a wider flatter rib.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I used to have a name and password for the AACA(10 or 12 years ago). I'll have to see if I can find it.
