Cant collect them all, but here are the ones in my collection that I really like. Always interested in seeing what others have collected as well.
Here's the Greek "Goddess of Speed" used on Packards.. Hard to find with the original glass wing and the proper base...

Pullman I sure like the jet fighter hood ornament with the amber no second which I guess is lighted. How cool
It makes me smile to know that a place like the Gilmore museum, has such an extensive collection, truly all of them are marvelous works of art, from another time period gone by! I know this piece is marine related, but its still one of the most unique lighted " hood/deck " ornaments I have ever seen. I believe its from the 50's and that possibly it was for Chris Craft boats. I paid $20.00 for it at the Portland swap meet, it was buried in a pile of junk parts, it cleaned up very nicely! Lenses are intact and not scratched, all of the wiring is good as well. The center ring mount has a small crack which can easily be repaired. Captain Kirk would be envious of this piece!
Was just at the Gilmore last week, they added the entire Tamoroff collection since I was last there, outstanding collection, of course besides the cars. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Pretty amazing what somebody thinks they are worth, but I get it, its a unique piece, I am really not interested in selling it, I have turned down an offer of $300.00 already. I told the gentleman, the money isn't the reason I wont sell it, if sold, the money received for it is just common currency, its more fun to own the piece than to just have paper money for it. Thanks for the notice Big O, its appreciated. Dennis.

31Dodge. I have a need for a working radiator cap like the one you showed here with the square top and the DB emblem embedded in it. If it has the 3 tab radiator lock. I have a not to functional one that I can work with you on. Is that a possibility? If it has the brass threaded locking piece to the radiator then its not what I need.
So sorry, I have already sold it a while back to a 1931 DB truck owner. It indeed does have the three tab locking system. I will definitely keep an eye out for one for you.
I found this in a shed I was cleaning out . Any idea what it fit or came off of . It is very thin . 5/8" wide base with one threaded mounting hole . The body is 1/4" -3/8" thick .
1926 Pontiac. Saw this on Seattle-Craigslist (bought in Enumclaw, WA) for $100 and had to have it. Strange twist was talking with a local parts store guy who's Dad owns a 26 Pontiac. This car is in a museum in Sedro Woolley, WA and the hood ornament was stolen? I'm sure I got this before the theft but don't really know.
I had this damaged 20's, 30's Mercury Man radiator ornament laying around and decided it needed a new life. Someone had cut off one of the arms and a rear portion of the ornament. Found a maple burl I had from a 150 year old maple tree we cut down years ago. Reshaped it to fit over the area cut away from the ornament. Added another piece of the maple for a base and a piece of a colored rock out of my garden. Lots of sanding and some hand rubbed clear to reincarnate this into a one off display piece.
