  8. I know it’s a 32 world, and the rest of us just live in it, but can someone explain why the A frame is ugly? I just dragged my second one home in the form of a trailer frame. Compared to a model T it is a big step up. I like the splash pan look, on a model A, but don’t mind the look of the frame either. Without a body the frame is nicely tapered front to back, almost a feminine shape, the back cross member has a nice arch, the line drawings of the model A frame and gear are a work of art, whats not to like?

Curios what camera/filter/treatment you used to achieve the vintage picture look.
I know the Sepia filter gives that warm brownish/gold effect, but yours even looks a little grainy and has the darkened edges that old photos can have.

    Looks good,BTW!

We live in an overweight world, no need to make a Model A obese with one of those ugly modern frames!

I’ll get some funny looks for this, but I personally prefer the straighter, slimmer look of the A. The 32 frame is not as interesting to look at, and 32s often look a bit potbellied.

32’ frame has much better ride, with the spring behind the axle. Also will handle a motor that has any real power. My opinion only is they are a bit heavy, meaty for me under a Model A roadster. Coupe? Different story. That is just my opinion .

They both look great...if done right. The “A” frame looks more mechanical...the “32” frame looks more smooth. Quite sure Boyd would have voted for the 32!

  29. The line opposite of the oil return tube inlet on your valve cover, where does that go?
